- Martin B Added April 06, 2023★ ★ ★ ★ ☆We (my wife, daughter and I) visited for the Sparkle and Splash deal - afternoon tea and use of Spa facilities.
This is a quaint little part if the world and the hotel is nestled in some beautiful surroundings. It appears a bit dated, but on the whole clean and tidy.
Afternoon tea was very nice, with plenty of delights.
The spa wasn't all that big, but is functional. It has a pool (there were lessons taking place which reception did inform us about), a jacuzzi, sauna, and steam room. There is also a gym but we didn't have access or a desire to use it.
Service was good, price is reasonable, and the overall experience was good.

Clean, comfortable, relatively recently refurbished room. Little disappointed that there wasn’t a bath in the huge bathroom. Really good cooked to order breakfast. Great pool and sauna facilities, wish they were open longer though as I arrived late and had to leave early. It was the best wedding I’ve been to. Just right.
Staff so friendly and made us felt welcomed. Room was perfect. Would stay here again as plenty things to see and walk around that area and nearby. - Robert Crowe Added March 13, 2023★ ★ ★ ★ ☆Good welcome, reasonable room in the original hotel overlooking the road so not bad. Decor ok, walls a tad thin so you can hear people talking. Been years since last here but not changed much. Fine for the odd night, not luxurious but definitely comfortable with great pool area.

The spacious beautifully appointed room surpassed any hotel I had stayed in before. Attentive staff. Good food.
Superb wellness suite with sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and Immaculate swimming pool and gardens. This was a place deserving the highest accolade.
